The Nobel Prize for Literature goes to Mario Vargas Llosa

The award was announced this morning. In a speech in 1967, upon receiving another prize for literature he said,” Literature is a form of permanent insurrection and cannot accept strait-jackets.  Any attempt to bend its angry, rebellious nature is doomed to failure.  Literature might die but it will never be conformist.”

I think I just found my long weekend reading material! /JD
