What did you read today?

All these snow days have given me extra time to read.  I have been reminded of the years when I read most–right after college, when I was living in Vermont.  The long, snowy winters gave me plenty of time to read.  I tucked into all the great long novels that I hadn’t read in English and Literature classes up to that point.  I remember coming home from work, fixing a cup of tea, changing into my comfy clothes and curling up on the couch with a blanket to read Anna Karenina, Jane Eyre, Sister Carrie, and other classics.  Lately, I’m very interested in reading new books, both fiction and nonfiction.  I’ll be posting about my favorite new reads of the year here in the coming days.
